I’ve been keeping a journal since 1979 where at first I noted what I wanted to experience as a broadcast reporter/producer in the process of mapping out a plan to reach the responsibility of managing a TV Station and creating theatrical presentations using original spoken word pieces, dance and music. Along the way there have been four “life inventories” drawn up along 12 step guidelines taking into account the good, the bad and the extreme. I have isolated one hundred “lines” In organizing my written work in the journal to create my next book and will be sharing those lines once a day over the next three and a half months to openly reinforce my musings as a testament dedicated to my granddaughter in effect sharing the information much in the same way my great uncle Don Luis Chaluisant Y Morales and Uncle Heriberto “Chamaco” Batlle shared their lives with me. Essentially they taught me about “gratitude” for having a human experience in all its dimensions.
